About the Council

"INDIA – GCC SME BUSIENSS COUNCIL" will provide an economic bridge between SMEs, Companies, Entrepreneurs, Investment Boards, Chambers of Commerce, Banks, FIs, Investors, Service Providing Companies and Trade Promotional Organisations of India and Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC Countries) to exchange information on bi-lateral business, investment, import, export, joint ventures, technology transfers, contract manufacturing tie-ups and other emerging business opportunities in various sectors.

The Council is initiated by Small and Medium Business Development Chamber of India (SME Chamber of India) and India International Trade Centre (Investment and Trade Promotion Organisation) and associated by Maharashtra Industrial and Economic Development Association (MIEDA), SME Export Promotion Council, Packaging Industry Association of India (PIAI), SME Technology Development Council and SME Business Management Institute to accomplish the objectives.

This Council will identify business partners, collaborations, alliances, setting up industrial units, display products and services and other related business activities aswell as to take up issues to concerned authorities. The Council will put efforts to take full advantage of Economic Cooperation Agreement between India and GCC countries and organise various activities to create business atmosphere, educate and create awareness amongst SME Sector for better business growth and investment promotion.
